About Me

For over 20 years I have worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor in a variety of clinical settings helping people with psychological difficulties including combat related issues, severe and persistent mental illness, cumulative relational trauma, clients needing acute inpatient psychiatric care, critical group incidents (bank robberies, natural disasters, etc), psychological struggles related to brain injury and difficulties related to interpersonal violence. I have been in private practice since 2002.

I first became acquainted with the work of C.G. Jung and his contemporaries when I was introduced to dream work. Although I had been primarily trained in cognitive approaches, I found it fascinating to consider the unconscious and the promise it held for a greater understanding of human psychology. Ever since, I’ve immersed myself in the psychotherapeutic work of Jung and post-Jungians (termed “Depth Psychology”).

I grew up in Arvada but spent about 15 years after college living in the Colorado Springs area. I’m now back in my hometown living in a house that my grandfather built in 1940. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking and wresting my socks from my Corgi. I enjoy watching Anime shows with my daughter when she allows it.

I am a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and gender affirming therapist.
